Cyclone

A monster Cyclone is headed for the North Queensland coast. It was upgraded to a category five this morning and it is also the biggest cyclone in area, to ever hit Queensland.  We should be fine down here in Brisbane, as the Cyclone is due to hit around Cairns.  Lots of people were flying down to Brisbane from Cairns and Townsville and the airports are now shut down as of this morning.  We are always interested in what happens along our intended route of travel, as it affects where we can stop.

Friday morning we are going to rent a car and drive South to Sydney and then New South wales. Probably be gone for about 12  days.
